What is sustainability?

Sustainability is based on a simple principle:  Everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends, either directly or indirectly, on our natural environment.  Sustainability creates and maintains the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, that permit fulfilling the social, economic and other requirements of present and future generations.

Sustainability is important to making sure that we have and will continue to have, the water, materials, and resources to protect human health and our environment.

We're not a family of environmentalists.  In fact, but for the recycle bin downstairs we might not recycle every day.  We think, however, when you can act in an environmental way then you should.

We worked hard to find companies that would make our boards in a sustainable way.  We're trying to make responsible decision that will reduce our company's negative impact on the environment.

We traveled to China, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, Mexico, and the US looking for the right supplier of the wood to make your boards.  We think we found the best who share the same sustainability viewpoint.
